Energy correlated time-of-flight mass spectrometer

I am going to work with an energy-correlated time-of-flight mass spectrometer to study the photoinduced dissociation of Polycyclic Aromatic Hydrocarbons( PAHs). This instrument can give high energy and mass resolution to study the cations of PAHs and their dehydrogenation process. Also, it is capable of analyzing the decay processes at a very broad time scale (1𝝁s-1ms), which is a complementary process to the ion trap. Using this instrument, I am going to study ion-neutral coincidence and the multiphoton dissociation process.
