National Conference on Atomic and Molecular Physics (NCAMP) is a prestigious biennial conference conducted by Indian Society of Atomic and Molecular Physics (ISAMP). ISAMP is an organization founded in the year 1975 and is the single largest society of Indian researchers working in the field of atomic and molecular physics. The National conference conducted by ISAMP every two years, called NCAMP, hosts typically over 200 national and international delegates.
The 23rd edition of NCAMP will be conducted at IIST in collaboration with Indian Institute for Science Education and Research (IISER), Thiruvananthapuram, Space Physics Laboratory (SPL), Thiruvananthapuram and Space Program Office, Bengaluru. The event will be spread over three and half days including one day session at SPL. The conference will host S. N. Ghosh young scientist award presentations as well as the ISAMP best thesis award presentations.
Pre-conference School on overlapping areas of Atomic and Molecular Physics and Quantum Technology is a program that is organized along with NCAMP. Any interested PhD student whose work has any relevance to the above mentioned topic can join this program with their research topic and their current research progress .
